Steinþór Hróar Steinþórsson


Steinþór Hróar Steinþórsson (a.k.a Steindi Jr.) was born in Reykjavík, Iceland in 1984.

He is a very well known comedian in Iceland and has been acting, writing and producing since he was a teenager. Steindi is currently the host of the most popular comedy shows on Icelandic radio.

In 2011 he released an album “Án djóks samt djók” (Without a Joke, still a Joke) which received a gold record award and received People’s Choice Award at the Icelandic Music Awards. He also won an Edda award (Icelandic film & TV Academy) for Actor in a leading role as Atli in Under the tree.

Thirst is the first movie he produces and directs.

Steindi is raising a family in Iceland and he used to have a dog.
